Hi, all! My name is Molly. I've been a Pilates and Strength coach in Sydney for the last 6 years. I wish I could tell you about my illustrious and decorated career as a beautiful, graceful dancer, but I have two left feet and can't keep rhythm. I started teaching because I wanted people to feel incredible in their bodies. This is the underlying theme in every class I teach - accomplishment and celebration in everyday movement. As a mum, I understand that workouts need to be as quick and effective as possible, but I also want to use that precious time to get intouch with the mind/body connection. I've had the pleasure and opportunity to work with and grow brands like Barrys, Rumble Boxing, and multiple incredible Pilates studios across Sydney. Taking knowledge and experience from all of my previous studios, along with my current role as Global Head of Education for Vive (Vaura) Active, has shaped me to be the instructor I am today.
A former professional dancer, Ash spent a decade travelling the globe working in dance and musical theatre. Ash discovered Pilates as a form of rehabilitation after recovering from surgical treatment for her endometriosis. She loved the way it connected her mind to her body and made her feel stronger than ever. She decided to take her love of Pilates full time and opened her bespoke Brisbane studio 'Boutique Pilates Method' (BPM) in 2020. Her love of music and dance led to the creation of her very own Pilates method "BPM" which sees Ash and her team teaching creative Pilates flows to a specific 'beat per minute' keeping BPM's classes fun and fresh. Ash went on to complete her Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction with National Pilates training in 2023 and has now become a Faculty Educator for the government accredited course. Her passion lies within all forms of teaching and she is deeply committed to supporting new instructors entering the industry. Ash welcomes her first baby girl in June 2024 and will be able to offer you real time feedback on the postnatal journey and how her pregnancy changed her relationship with Pilates and movement.
Belinda is the Founder and Director of Pilates People Teacher Training and co-owner of Pilates&Co studios on the Gold Coast. After welcoming her third child in 2007, Belinda found herself facing persistent pain, leading her to discover the transformative power of Pilates. She found the benefits of practising this method of movement invaluable, giving her the strength and confidence to take back her health and the tools to empower others to move fearlessly and step into their full potential. She strongly believes that movement is medicine, no matter your age or past experiences. Qualified in Yoga and Pilates, with experience in teaching large group classes, Belinda also specialises in Clinical Pilates sessions and finds great joy in working 1:1 with clients to overcome imbalance, fear and pain associated with movement. In 2018, Belinda stepped into the role of training Pilates teachers in both Certificate IV in Pilates and Diploma in Clinical Pilates courses. Since then, she has trained and mentored over 1000 students, guiding them on their path to exceptional Pilates teachers. Today, she runs her own training facility where she offers comprehensive in-person courses in matwork, reformer and studio apparatus.

David is a Physiotherapist, Pilates Instructor, Strength and Conditioning Coach and former body builder. He began his career as a Personal Trainer in 2013 and quickly expanded into sports training and Pilates. By 2016, he founded Strength & Pilates Physiotherapy, blending his expertise in physiotherapy with Pilates and now has a team that includes four physiotherapists, three Pilates instructors, and one massage therapist. David started his education journey at KX in 2017 and became a course presenter for Unite Health in 2020, focusing on integrating his skills to deliver their Pilates teacher training course. David is an active educator, conducting workshops for many esteemed organisations on topics ranging from injury and rehab to optimising Pilates exercises for beginners.
Monica is a Pilates training educator and mentor, and has been teaching Pilates and yoga across Sydney for over a decade. Having trained in classical ballet from a young age, she has a keen interest in movement, dynamic alignment and anatomy. Monica aims to create positive movement experiences for her clients with empowering and functional flows.
Phoebe found Pilates at the age of 13 as a way to support her body while dancing full-time at a performing arts school. In 2013 she began developing her knowledge and skills, studying under Polestar, STOTT, Pilates International Training Center and taking any continuing education available. Forming a friendship with fellow Pilates enthusiast Olivia, they agreed the fitness scene was missing the mark in speaking to a younger generation of people who could benefit from Pilates. The idea to bring fun back to fitness hatched, and Heartbeat High was born. Heartbeat High opened its doors in Perths CBD 2018 with 2 studios rooms. Reformer Pilates popularity was on the rise, but a key point of difference was HBHs diverse Mat offering. From Phoebe's dance background, she knew the magic of movement without machines and props, just space to move freely your way. Both founders believe Mat makes Pilates accessible to a wider reach of humans and its value is hugely overlooked in today’s market. Heartbeat High has now expanded to 3 studio locations in Perth's inner suburbs and over 20 employees which Phoebe heads the training and mentoring of while on their mission to make exercise a pleasure, not a chore.
Hi I’m Sara, I first started Pilates in the late 1990’s and I’ve been teaching this incredible form of movement for over 20 years. I knew I was going to be a Pilates teacher after my very first week of studio Pilates as I instantly fell in love with the indescribable feeling that Pilates gives you and I wanted to share that with the world! Over the last two decades I’ve had the joy of having my Pilates workouts completed by over a million poeple, I’ve travelled the world presenting workshops, I’ve been a Pilates teacher trainer for 15 years, owned traditional and contemporary studios, won the Pilates Anytime Instructor competition, became a Balanced Body Master Trainer and I’ve had one of the largest online Pilates programs in the world. I love blending my traditional Pilates roots with my own modern twist and turns through all of this amazing, varied experience that I’ve been able to continue to evolve and refine my teaching to where it is today. I’m extremely passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with other Pilates Teachers. I’m also a strong believer in simple and effective programming that gives you, as a teacher, the tools you need to keep people engaged, invested in the process and feeling the benefits of Pilates for life!
Shayelle Lajoie is a vibrant soul who finds joy in the balance of health, fitness, ballet and the ocean. A runner-up on Australian Survivor’s 2022 season, Shay is a surfer, yoga instructor, biomedical student, dancer, and organizer of wellness retreats. Living on the Sunshine Coast, she is often seen next to her blush coloured longboard at the beach, with a bowl of quinoa oats and berries. One of the biggest reasons Shay began studying biomed, was witnessing her family suffer from heart disease, dementia, and Alzheimer’s. Understanding the genetic implications of these conditions from a young age, she recognised the importance of healthy eating, exercising, and sleep. Shay is now thriving in her biomedical studies, with electives in nutritional biochemistry. She aspires to pursue a PhD in nutrigenomics, studying how food and lifestyle choices impact gene expression. Her contagious enthusiasm for surfing, combined with her dedication to nutrition and genetic research, illustrates her commitment to a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
Victoria, is a fiery, passionate and authentic teacher who loves nothing more than being on a Reformer. A shameless lover of a fresh activewear set, she founded Vicalates with the intention of creating a luxurious and inviting space in which she could teach her take on the Pilates method. Whether in class or nestled in the Good Room for a private session, expect sass, support and lots of laughs. She’s hands on, often loud and very invested in enhancing your Pilates experience. Originally trained in Melbourne in 2018, she returned to her home city after a stint overseas in 2020 to forever change the Pilates game. She has since continued become internationally qualified and recognised through Balanced Body, under the tutorage of some of the United State’s best master trainers. A self-professed Pilates nerd, she founded Alignment Academy in 2023 to bring intelligent and approachable continuing education to the Pilates community. When not in the studio, you are likely to find her listening to country music, baking a cheesecake and busy being Brooklyn’s (her gorgeous dog) Mum.
With nearly 15 years in the industry, Rebecca began teaching in 2010. But her journey with Pilates began back when she was 17 — she was told she could only get into ballet school if she sorted out her posture with Pilates. Fast forward to now and it has become the backbone of her physical health (pun intended). She has been helping train teachers with Barre Body since 2018 and continues to support Pilates, Barre, and Reformer instructors as a mentor at Teacher Love Club. What are you passionate about? "Sharing everything I know about being the best instructor you can be and seeing new instructors light up." What is your favourite way to move? "Strength training. I love lifting weights and feeling strong and empowered." What’s your favourite book? "The Outlander series. Which I have now almost finished (tears)."

Phoebe has immersed herself in both classical and contemporary Pilates training under the guidance of industry leaders . With a decade of experience drawing from her diverse background, Phoebe founded The Pilates Edition, an esteemed online education platform tailored for Pilates instructors launching soon. Today, Phoebe's passion lies in evolving the way Pilates instructors teach, empowering them to elevate their skills as trainers.
With a decade of experience, Sofie founded STUDIO LEVELS to level up the pilates industry. An experienced Physiotherapist, Sofie is educated, passionate and has invested in creating a client experience that is innovative and personable. After successfully selling her first business, a thriving group reformer pilates studio in Adelaide, Sofie has taken the learnings to scale back, opening STUDIO LEVELS, a space to deliver private reformer workouts in Byron Bay whilst working with Studio Owners & Teams online and in person across Australia.

Barre Body has flourished since its inception in 2012, with an incredible online platform, world-class teacher training programs, and a cult following. Teaching group classes for over 10 years across London, Asia and all over Australia, Holly is a studio consultant, teacher trainer and business owner dedicated to the boutique group studio industry. Holly has dedicated her career to not only being of service to her clients, but to her colleagues and peers within the movement industry.
Bianca is a certified Pilates Instructor with international recognition and a Clinical Naturopath. Her passion for movement began in childhood through dance and Pilates classes with her mother at a young age. Viewing movement as a means of self-expression and a tool for body awareness, she empowers her clients with the belief that movement can be a form of healing. She currently teaches online through Alo Moves, a prominent fitness app, leads wellness retreats, and instructs at prestigious studios in Sydney. Beyond movement, Bianca's Italian upbringing instilled in her a deep appreciation for homegrown produce, herbal remedies, and the healing power of food. With a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy, she is dedicated to promoting Women's Health and integrating her knowledge in both practices to support and uplift those she encounters.
